Muhle Privateers - Ogor Mawtribes Leadbelchers - Firing Squad
Descriptions
The ogor leadbelchers, traditionally, are beefy bois who carry full-sized black-powder canons in their arms. They stuff those cannons with powder and whatever scrap they can shove in them, and fire showers of metal at their enemies. These Leadbelchers are a bit more refined, having had some help from duardin to fashion less cumbersome hand cannons that they can strap to a single arm. They’re sporting the traditional yellow pants like other Muhle members, and gas masks to help them breath in aether-heavy skies.
Build
It’s uncanny how much of the stock ogryn/bullgryn kit fits the aesthetic for my army. baggy pants, tanks or bear chest, and steel clad leather boots. The Kharadron Overlord set a precedent for air filtration masks and suits, so it’s an easy leap to bring these guys into AoS.
Here are the parts that went into this Kit
Imperial Guard Ogryn with arm canon.
40K Orks Mega-Nob boss-pole.
Paint
These are by-no-means finished, but they sort of got stuck in this paint stage before I took my hiatus. I would love to finish these guys off, and am tempted to strip them bare and start from scratch so I could take even more care with their tattoos and patterned clothing.
GameS
I’ve been playing these guys in Warcry and they add a lot to the army. Rarely do they kill something in a single action, but they are great for picking off little guys in a single activation, or weakening tanks down field. But if you get within 3” you shut can keep that model from being a target, and if you get into melee, you shut down their shooting all together. A lot of fun with these guys on the field.
