Dogs of Warcry is a podcast from the Mortal Realms focusing on Warcry, a fast paced, cinematic skirmish game by Games Workshop. You can expect discussions on gameplay, rules, lore, painting, terrain, campaigns and events.

In this episode Eric and Josh take a peek into the Heart of Ghur, the latest Warcry starter box. Attempting to summon radio sportscasters of old they rummage through stacks of plastic and flip through pages of tomes to find out what’s new and exciting in this book.

This box is as big as the original Warcry Starter Set that came with the Untamed Beasts and Cypher Lords! We were happy to see how much came in the box:

6 Terrain sprues, each unique except for the walkway sprue is doubled

The two warband models are packed full of detail and visual language that’s unique to them. Each warband has multiple options for how to build some of the fighters.

This terrain set is bulked out with gnarl oaks and the skeletons of their victims. Lots of ruins, walkways, platforms to create you wildest tree-fort terrain dreams.
